Cheap GPS Devices Are Easy To Find

Cheap GPS Devices Are Easy To Find For Your Fun Date Ideas #4.

Fun Date Ideas are what keeps your dating life alive and kicking, but they can also be a great way to kick off a brand new date.

Here’s a great new fun date idea we bet you never thought of…

Fun Date Ideas #4: Geocaching

Geocaching is an outside activity that makes use of a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver and other techniques, to both seek as well as hide special containers called ‘geocahces’ or simply ‘caches’ – virtually anywhere in the world.

A standard geocache is usually a small but waterproof container which holds nothing more than a logbook where the geocacher who finds the cache can sign and date the book with their code name, but there are other more complicated geocaches as well that can contain real treasure.

Geocache “treasure” usually contains items for trading where the geochacher removes an item and/or replaces it with an item of their own.

Typical geocache “treasures” usually have some personal value to the finder or placer. Contents can include coins or currency of a country or that are unusual in some way, toys, buttons, compact discs, pictures, post cards, and even books. Your imagination is the only limit here.

There are even items that get moved from cache to cache that are referred to as “hitchhikers”.

Geocaches have been placed in over 200 countries around the world and on all seven continents. A geocache has even been placed on the space station and in Antarctica.
